Shake off

I gather wood of Word of God,

Lay on the fire of the Holy Spirit.

The heat of Truth drive out evil snake of lies,

Even though I got stung by the fang.

I shake off the snake to the Holy Fire,

Let the darkness be consumed by God’s inflaming light.

Once safely on shore, we found out that the island was called Malta. The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold. Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, “This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, the goddess Justice has not allowed him to live.” But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects. The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead; but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god. <Acts 28:1-6>

主的智慧

主七十個七次的原諒,不斷消除人對刑罰的害怕,

這是主的智慧,叫人自由後甘心樂意為主擺上。

竭力追求主是一種幸福,

每靠主前進一步就是進步。

Advance in maturity,

Be a holy instrument for His good work.

Justice

God is fair.

One man (Adam) sinned.

The Son of man (Jesus Christ) paid for it.

The devil must shut up.

God is just–

All men sin;

But One Son of God (Jesus Christ) bore all our penalty of death,

Hung on the cross on our behalf to die,

Took the blame in front of the Judge throne.

Raised from death by the same Judge,

To grant us the freedom of Righteousness,

So that all men through His Way are forgiven and redeemed to alive,

Even restored to be co-heirs with Him as God’s glorious Son.–

It’s finished–His redemption plan.

No more condemnation–devil’s works are destroyed.

My worthiness is in Christ, who is the artisan, defining my price.

My justice is in Christ, who is the judge, handling my case.

My honor is in Christ, who is the Lord, rewarding my faith.

This is God’s mercy to sinners,

Righteousness to His believers, and

Justice to the world.

My days

Eating God’s Rhema Manna ,

Enjoy the morning coffee,

Walking in the sunshine,

Meditating in the creation,

Listening to the Creator,

Clinging my mind to His heart,

Through faith in Jesus Christ,

I live.

Be free

Be free to serve, not fall to sins.

Be free to run, with a heart abiding in God, not the law.

Be free to rejoice, in Jesus Christ alone.

Be free to love, in the Spirit.

Be free to endure, with His grace.

Be free to wait, on His promise.

Be free to grow, in His time.

A beautiful pillar

I plant you from a little seed,

Carefully water and grow you into a tree.

No hurry to show you by pulling you big,

For I will carve you into a beautiful beam,

To adorn My Palace as a perfect scene.

Then our sons will be like plants nurtured in their youth, our daughters like corner pillars carved to adorn a palace. (Psalm 144:12)

Just do it

No rules.

Be free.

According to the faith abiding in the Spirit,

And go ahead with what is the next right thing to do.

Give up my right

Jesus Christ went to the cross to die,

As He lay down His life for my crime.

So do I decide,

To give up the right to be offended,

For receiving the eternal life from the Father God,

Who is the Creator of life.

Handle with care

I had a long dream,

Waking up without remembering the details.

I lay on the bed and God reminds me of one Take Away:

Handle with care.

Recalling from the dream,

I learn that having a double-edged sword, sharpened to cut through spirit from soul,

I must be careful, gently and patiently to speak His word like operating a knife in the surgeon’s hand.
