祢造我為美麗，祢日日更新我，
祢從塵土造我，成為祢榮耀器皿，

「沒有錢，但我不會窮」、「不管輸或贏，你都不可放棄」，台灣原住民創作歌手與電視台主持人阿洛‧卡力亭‧巴奇辣說，這兩句是她在電影「太陽的孩子」中的台詞，也是她的座右銘。她將應明州台灣線上圖書館主辦的電影節邀請，於18日上線與觀眾交流。
「太陽的孩子」描述在花蓮原住民為了保護土地所做的貢獻，阿洛說，導演鄭有傑當時對懷疑這部片是否有票房的人說，對自己的故事要有信心，導演更因片中批評財團而沒有找尋任何廠商贊助。
鄭有傑為了這部影片走訪部落，啟用素人演員，讓他們說出自己想說的話。阿洛也深受鄭有傑的影響，投入拍片與寫劇本，她說，不論透過歌曲或影片，目標都是藉由說故事來帶給人心力量。
阿洛來自花蓮阿美族，小時候因父親在台東擔任音樂老師而轉到當地唸書，當時新環境她原住民身分的歧視，使她發奮學習說沒有口音的漢語，這段印在心底深處的經歷，也寫入了「太陽的孩子」。阿洛說，演出這個橋段時，她必須緊握自己發抖的手才能忍住不掉淚。
阿洛的族名意思是「唱歌討神喜悅」。她在大學時為了學習母語開始作詞作曲。她說，有個長輩曾告訴她，沒有所謂五音不全，音符也不是個人發明的，而是上帝創造出各種聲音，她因此體悟人要謙卑，人雖渺小不能勝天，卻被天所憐憫與疼惜。
阿洛表示，台灣是南島語系的源頭，當她遠行到南洋群島與當地原住民交流時，發現彼此有許多共同詞彙，她說，身為島嶼人其實都有著勇敢與冒險的精神。
阿洛曾在主持工作多年後因長期憋尿腎衰竭而一度瀕臨死亡，然而當她被醫治後，她說每天早晨她醒來第一件事，就是感謝上帝給她氣息與生命，她向神禱告要好好使用這新的一天。

我不能靠自己，，

I am encircled by Father God, Son of God and Holy Spirit,

主說：光照進黑暗中，
我的心明亮了，如打開了窗，迎接旭日，
吸入清晨的新氣息。
主說：你是自由的，
我的心釋放了，如出圈的牛犢，踴躍歡欣，
無所畏懼在天父的世界裡奔跑。
主說：我喜悅你，
我的心快活了，
我是被天父疼愛的孩子，
信心滿滿踏出每一步，
不擔心做錯，因我領受的是兒女的靈，不是奴僕的靈（羅馬說8:15）
不害怕錯過，因我讓天父的大手緊握著我的，享受走過每一個高山和低谷。
