明州華人學術聯誼會舉辦「福虎生豐」線上賀年同樂會，由副會長陳慶儀和理事溫榕榕兩人，於除夕當天早上從台灣連線主持，讓明州同鄉感受家鄉的過年氣氛。與會者熱鬧分享記憶中的過年習俗，並在線上玩猜燈謎、分送祝福紅包與卡拉ok大合唱。
在明州得勝高中(DeLaSalle High School)擔任中文老師的葛如璋，事先錄製學生用中文說吉祥話與唱恭喜新年來拜年。
會長王莉茵說，每年過年，她最期待外公依照地方習俗，特別到家裡來請媽媽初二回娘家，這也是每年家中六個兄弟姐妹，少之又少的出外旅行機會，大家還會拿著紅包去買零食。她還說，因為家中的成員來自不同國家，她的女婿覺得很幸運，不僅年底有聖誕節禮物，農曆新年可拿紅包，加上另一半來自伊朗，3月還有波斯新年的紅包可領。
阮仁華說，小時候最喜歡全家圍爐，尤其懷念圍爐烤烏魚子的滋味。住眷村的陳慶儀說，拿了紅包也是去買零食和鞭炮，並且在巷弄裡跟鄰居對打，回家才發現褲子上都是鞭炮燒破的洞。剩下的紅包錢得繳交父母去回禮。她很喜歡過年的禁忌，像是不可打小孩、吵架，以及初五之前不打掃。
賀廣玉說，父母過年才給孩子準備新衣與皮鞋，記得去北門買皮鞋時還可抽獎。溫儀章回憶自己在大二去鹽水體驗蜂炮，是一生難得的經驗。
蘇秉輝是北方人，過年會祭祖上貢，並且全家包餃子，然後搶吃其中包一毛硬幣、象徵發財的金元寶。
王文宗說，小時候過年灌香腸、做臘肉，哥哥會把晾在竹竿上的香腸自行取下，用吹風機烤來吃。
葛如璋住屏東客家村，長輩會用大灶蒸年糕，但是告誡小孩不可問年糕什麼時候蒸好；內蒙古來的呂素平說家鄉長輩也這樣告訴孩子，並說他們過年吃羊肉餃子。
聊完過年回憶後，大家一起猜燈謎回憶台灣、中國地名、漢字成語等。接著輪流打開包著虎年吉祥話的紅包，大家用台語或中文念出來相當逗趣。整個活動在James帶大家高歌新年應景歌曲聲中圓滿結束。
Be still.
And know that He is God.
Not think about what you can or cannot do;
But think about what He can do.
Not worry about how He will do;
But remember what He has done.
Not focus on problems;
But seek God for His wise solutions.
Not value your fame ;
But perpetuate His memory through all generations;
So that His glory radiates in your life.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)
內心完全降服上帝旨意，讓你的口為主耶穌所用，
誠懇祈求上帝的旨意成全，而不是自己的旨意。
以這樣的信心宣告，必成就上帝所應許的；
因為主耶穌說有就有，命立就立。
「…他若心裡不疑惑，只信他所說的必成，就必給他成了。所以我告訴你們，凡你們禱告祈求的，無論是什麼，只要信是得著的，就必得著。」（馬可福音11:23b-24）
Praise God has done so many wonders:
From the complicated design of my body,
To the detailed plans for my life journey,
And all His salvation works for my faith,
There are too many to declare.
“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” (Psalm 40:5)
God is our Help, the sovereign Solution.
He is not our helpful assistant in our own agenda.
Therefore, when the outcome fails your expectation,
Don’t hurry to conclude that God is not with you;
For God’s sovereignty is in everything we do to achieve His best agenda.
“You are my help and my deliverer; you are my God, do not delay.” (Psalm 40:17b)
將自己獻上當作活燔祭，
燒盡全歸主：
不效法世界，
讓真理更新我心思意念，
攻克己身，叫身服我。
讓主耶穌在我心中做王，
祂是我的天，
祂是我的地，
我唯一屈膝敬拜與尊崇的。
「所以弟兄們，我藉著神的各樣憐憫勸你們，要把自己的身體獻上，做為聖潔、蒙神喜悅的活祭；這是你們理所當然的事奉。」 （羅馬書12:1）
If you know Jesus Christ loves you and you love Him,
You are invited to share His mind and pray with compassion,
Imitating Jesus Christ,
As He didn’t label, judge or condemn the woman in adultery,
But accept, forgive and command to empower her to sin no more.
So don’t linger in the condition of being offended, angered or defensive;
But ask Jesus to pour down His forgiveness, love and peace of Holy Spirit into your heart,
So that you can pray alongside Him for yourself and other people.
You will see the beautiful outcome only God can make in His time and in His way.
As a result, you shall wholeheartedly give Him all glory due His name.
Then Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, Lord,” she answered. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.” (John 8:10-11)
願主讓代禱者勤勞耕種禱告的田地，
撒下福音的種子，
溫柔地陪伴來鬆人的心土，
拔除惡者的謊言雜草，
祈求上帝恩雨降下，
使種子發芽生長並結出果實。
「當春雨的時候，你們要向發閃電的耶和華求雨，他必為眾人降下甘霖，使田園生長菜蔬。」（撒迦利亞書 10:1）
