God blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, for on it he rested from all his work of creation. (Genesis 2:3)
Be glad in the Lord, you righteous ones and give thanks to His holy name. (Psalm 97:12)
Praise God for completing Your creation work on the seventh day and making it holy, dedicated to your joy and glory.
Praise God for being holy and not conforming to any worldly standard because You are the only righteous standard.
Praise God, You alone are holy. You are the perfect God, clean and pure, entirely separated from all moral evil and sin.
Praise God, there is no one holy like our Lord, who deserves to be worshipped above all.
Praise God for giving divine nature to the saints who are sanctified by the Holy Spirit so that we shall be holy like You, enjoying in all Your perfect attributes.
Thank Jesus Christ for coming to become the Lord of the Sabbath, carrying out the true meaning of this day: a day for loving and saving His children, a day for glorifying Father God’s power and Name, and a day for rejoicing with all His restored creation.
May we desire to be holy and rejoice in God’s holiness because we trust His holy Name and live in His holy temple.
May we rest in Jesus Christ so that we will be empowered to live a holy life without giving any foothold to the devil.
May we put Jesus Christ as our top priority in our lives so that we shall bear fruit by the power of the Holy Spirit to glorify our Creator God.
In Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
