Faith in Jesus Christ, is like in Noah’s ark, holding you secure, anchoring your soul;
So that you are not shaken by waves of the world,
Not afraid of the unknown passage,
But in full speed, breaking through the ice of evil,
by resting in His mighty protection,
To sail toward His assured haven of eternity.
Faith in idols (such as self, success, health, religion, etc.), is like a swimmer in the ocean,
Holding nothing real perpetual,
Floating with tides of ego,
Being tossed by waves of worldly values,
Trembling at rapidly changing uncertainty.
In the blink of an eye, drowning in exhausted self-help effort,
And still has no assurance about the prospect of arrival to shore.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1, KJV)
