Saved and overcome

Mercy is that the deserved punishment is exempted.
Grace is that the undeserved gift is freely granted.

We are saved by God’s mercy.
We are justified by God’s grace.

The saved is freed from the bondage of sins and control of the devil.
The justified is restored to be God’s children and cannot be condemned by the devil.

Sins are cleansed by the word of God so that we are reborn with freedom.
Minds are renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit so that we are empowered to overcome the world and the devil.

The complete salvation definitely imparts deliverance and victory to life.

“He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:5-7)
